The Warren Park Youth Baseball League feels strongly that the quality of umpiring directly affects the level of play as well as the conduct of the coaches, parents and spectators. Accordingly, we have spent much time, effort and money to ensure that all individuals umpiring in WPYBLL games are well-trained.

Warren Park Youth Baseball League sponsors an umpire-training course. The umpire training course is free to the participants, provided that they commit to be available to work WPYBL games. The training is conducted by a professional umpire.
